The last couple weeks I’ve been playing ping pong with my small group. We even identified each of with a street fighter character depending on our ping pong skill level. Basically, since Justin’s the best out of us he’s like the protagonist, so he’s Ryu and we’re like the different bosses and enemies he has to face.
So he goes around beating each of us and starts with me, then John Tang, then Andrew Sata, then Pastor Aaron. Andrew Ong just watches or he played once i think. Anyhow. (just wanted include him in here)
So i guess I’m like Zangief or something because he looks all crazy, but he’s techniqueless.
John Tang is like Blanca or something because he’s just wild.
Sata looks just like an cute anime character so i guess he can be like Chun Li or something… Really though Chun Li is crazy with her quickness and speed… Just like Sata.
and I guess pastor Aaron is aiiite just barely better than all of us so he get to be M. Bison, or more like M for Mini. Bison because you can probably fit like four Pastor Aaron’s in there… jk
Chyeah honestly Mortal Kombat is cooler though. I would so rather be Sub-Zero or something and be able to freeze people, rather than be able to beat people up and stuff. Honestly, you can’t fight anyone once your frozen right… Funny thought.
K thats my story.
On another note.
Small Group today got me thinking…
How much effort do I actually put into being able to discern things better? Like the gray issues. With that, how am I improving myself in being able to communicate about issues relevant in our culture today, ultimately pointing the direction to a biblical and godly analysis?
I’ll leave that pondering for myself or for anyone who wants to join me.
