I hope this doesn’t come off as arrogant. But I’m glad the “How Dare You!” phrase is catching on.
It makes me smile, when freshmen and sophomores go around saying “How Dare You!” in their squeaky little voices. HAHA!
on a more serious note. I talked to a couple people about their thoughts on religion and got to share the gospel with them.
As I talked to them and realized there was no convincing them, however well the conversation went, I remembered Romans 2.
1Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things. 2 We know that the judgment of God rightly falls on those who practice such things. 3 Do you suppose, O man—you who judge those who practice such things and yet do them yourself—that you will escape the judgment of God? 4 Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? 5 But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed.
6 He will render to each one according to his works: 7 to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; 8 but for those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury. 9 There will be tribulation and distress for every human being who does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek, 10 but glory and honor and peace for everyone who does good, the Jew first and also the Greek. 11 For God shows no partiality.
Before my coming to know Christ, How dare I reject Him when I have seen the beauty of creation and redemption in His Word.
I’m glad that God softened my heart. And by his common and special grace I’m glad I was led to repentance.

I had an epiphany on eternity after talking to James Hizong. So on my twitter I wrote Today is Yesterday, Tomorrow.
I thought it sounded pretty cliche, but I thought it sounded cool so I googled it up to see who might have made it up. When I googled it nothing popped up. All I saw was Today is yesterday’s tomorrow. But I realized that’s completely different.
“Today is yesterday’s tomorrow” seems to say forget about the past it’s over and done with. You’re living in the now and you can forgive yourself of all the mistakes of your past. Or. If something good happened I guess you can say “time for another great and extraordinary day. TODAY!” For the unredeemed, why not strive for the next day? Might as well eat, drink, and be merry. (Luke 12:19)
but
“Today is yesterday, tomorrow” says to me “Fool! This night your soul is required of you, and the things you have prepared, whose will they be?” (Luke 12:20)
Time passes so quickly. I don’t want to waste it. And from what I know, it seems as though one of the best ways to not waste my life is to rescue people who are wasting theirs.
In the end, God will choose to give mercy to whom he chooses to give mercy. And clemency to whom he chooses to give a shred of clemency. I’m just glad to be a part of it. And to partake in it.

Only through the Savior Jesus Christ
His death and resurrection saved my life
I once was blind but now I see
His sacrifice has set me free
He the sinless savior Jesus Christ
His blood that recompensed my soul to God
Through Adam’s sin man ought have died
Through Christ alone my flesh denied
… still writing, but that’s what I have so far for my “hymn”
